There’s something fresh and original about Sprague’s musical sensibilities that’s hard (for me) to pinpoint. The piano tracks (possibly gently manipulated) here are charming and anchor the theme of this project, but I think it’s her synth work that is the key. This may be the most pastoral electronica record ever made.
